SWMBO has a tablet with Android on it, it appears to be the one version where the ability to move apps to the sd-card was removed, the previous version of android and all later versions have allowed it just this version doesn't

 

 

 

I think its version 4.2.2 I'll have to check, but she doesn't want to loose whats on there

If your OS version doesn't allow the option of moving to SD in the application manager in settings, you're pretty much on a hiding to nowhere. Some tablets (like my LG g Pad) have supportive developers, and up to date OS/ROM is available with adoptable storage. But getting new OS onto old tablets without losing data is a story for another day.
