Hi.

I have a new Shield TV. It's great, but in the reviews I saw it came with Amazon Video now, something I use a lot on my Amazon TV devices. I can't find it, and I can't see how I can load it.

Is this because my Google Account is NZ based?

Disable the location, under settings, and it will appear either when you go back to the home screen or restart the Shield

My google account is nz based and I have the amazon app. Try changing keyboard/language (can't remember exactly what the setting is) to US english and reboot. It should appear thereafter.

If not, I think I have the nvidia amazon apk I can pm you.

The geo-restrictions are a bit of a hassle. It took me a while to get it sorted but now it seems okay (iplayer, Hulu VUDU and amazon on one screen).

edit: also disable location settings....

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.
