Innovative consumer electronics company Huawei has launched its functional and stylish mid-range smartphone, the HUAWEI Nova Lite. Like the recently released HUAWEI P10 Series, the HUAWEI Nova Lite offers te reo Māori as a standard language option, available as a full operating language or dual English and Māori keyboard. Combined with an exceptional camera, robust hardware and next-generation technology, the HUAWEI Nova Lite is an ideal option for consumers looking for a high-quality, fashion-forward and efficient smartphone at an affordable price point.

The HUAWEI Nova Lite is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core Kirin 655 processor and 3GB RAM, which allows users to reach a superior level of operational speed, providing uninterrupted, unrivalled performance designed for a non-stop lifestyle. The smartphone comes with a 5.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels x 1920 pixels, and its fingerprint 4.0 sensor allows users to unlock the phone within mere seconds. Storage is generous - the HUAWEI Nova Lite’s standard 32GB of internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Considering Huawei smartphones are renowned for camera quality that rivals studio photography, the HUAWEI Nova Lite does not disappoint. With a 12-megapixel primary camera, fast auto function and a large pixel sensor, the HUAWEI Nova Lite captures vivid, more realistic photos with greater detail, delicate colour transitions and rich colour performance. Improved lighting effects ensure users never miss a moment, whether capturing photos during the day, or while out at dimly-lit restaurants and dark clubs during the evening. Meanwhile, the 8-megapixel front camera is tailored specifically to provide an extraordinary selfie experience, with a panoramic mode that adjusts according to how many people are in the image.

“We are committed to providing consumers with high quality, design led smartphones that complement day-to-day life,“ says Roson Luo, General Manager Consumer Business Group Huawei New Zealand. “The Nova Lite incorporates Huawei’s signature imaging capabilities with advanced technology and hardware innovations to result in a smartphone that provides fantastic user experience.”

The HUAWEI Nova Lite runs Android 7.0 with EMUI 5.0, is powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery and accepts Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include a proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and gyroscope.

The HUAWEI Nova Lite is available now from 2degrees stores nationwide and selected channel partners, priced at $449 NZD. Available colours include black and gold.
