Tired of waiting, I grabbed the Android 7 Nougat firmware for Vodafone Australia and manually updated using Odin. Perfect. Just follow one of the many how-to's. It's easier than you might think. Of course YMMV.

My S6 on 2 degrees got the Nougat update overnight.

Haven't noticed anything different aside from missing favourites tab in the phone/dialer app.

I though my S6 checked automagically but... apparently not. Just ran a manual check now and it says it has an update to download ... 3% into 1363.74MB, 33 min to go.

But has yet to tell me what the update is!

Finished downloading - yeah it was ougat 7 - have told it to install it overnight,.
