I recently brought a samsung 7 edge and while happy with the hardware notice it is still running android 6.  I understand that the NZ version has been upgraded to 7.

There seems to be a huge number of roms out there and I really don't want to brick it.

Would anyone be able to give some step by step instructions on how to upgrade it?

Model number sm -g935f on 2 degrees.  Phone says it is from United Arab Emirates

Go to: http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model

Search your model (SM-G935F)

Filter by Region: New Zealand (NZC) will give you 2Degrees firmware.

Download & run the update tool.

This will bring your phone on the to 2Degrees firmware, Including any extra branding they include (if any)

Edit: you'll need to use odin (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/themes-apps/27-08-2013-odin-3-09-odin-1-85-versions-t2189539) to flash the firmware :)
