I recently bought a Note 8 and whenever I try to enable fingerprint login in the ANZ GoMoney app and error pops up saying unfortunately there has been an error of that request, try again later.

Any Note 8 users got the fingerprint login working on ANZ GoMoneyApp

Have you tried asking ANZ directly?

Just tried on my S8+ and it works fine.  Do you have fingerprints registered on the device already?

How many do you have? If more than 1 it may not allow it

I got 2 fingerprints registered so that may be the reason why. I'll remove one of them and see if it would work

Just tried removing one of my fingerprints and it will still not let me enable fingerprint login

Is it just the fingerprint that is an issue, you can still confirm via pin?

There is currently a known bug with the Note 8 and its fingerprint reader with GoMoney. The Internet Banking team are currently looking into this. For the moment, hang tight and all I can really suggest is waiting for the next app update which should hopefully resolve it.

 

Note, whilst I work for ANZ I don't work in the Internet Banking space so no shooting the messenger please if the next app update doesn't fix this. They're quite a busy team with quite a lot going on right now but it is under investigation :)
