I am using a Huawei P9 lite that just recently has defaulted to opening the Android email app.
I want my emails to be sent from my Gmail app.
I have gone to settings and set Gmail as the default app.
However email links still open in the Android app.
Does anyone have any idea how to get email links to open in the Gmail app ?. thanks

Sorry haven’t used the Huawei so cannot give you specifics but in general under settings there will be apps, then click on the android email app, there should be an option to disable the app.
