Hi have any other Meizu owners found that the charge rate is very slow , around 4 hours or more to fully charge ?

We have 2 x M3s both of these take the same amount of time to charge regardless of what charger is used either 2.1 amp or 1amp . initially these phones would charge in a reasonable amount of time .

We have installed older firmware which made no difference , its as if somthing is causing throttling of the charge for some reason .

1eStar: Replace your charging cable.

Have used different cables and chargers , same results regardless .

Can I ask what version of Flyme you are on and how long it takes to charge ?

Thanks

Ours would be around 3 1/2 to 4 hours from 20% regardless of what charger is used . both phones are a year and a half old and one has just had screen replaced  and new battery .

I've got one here that is totally flat, i'll try & charge it now & let you know how it goes.

I'm using the original charger & cable.

EDIT: Sorry, just discovered this is an M3 Note with 4100mAh battery, instead of 3020mAh so I'd expect it to take a little longer than yours.

Are you using the original charger? Just because *a* charger says 2.1A on it doesn't mean it will charge at 2.1A.

If you read the original m3 note thread here on geekzone you will find others did attest to slow charging also. NikT suggested the Samsung adaptive charger would juice it up quickly.

So far its at 50% charged and took almost exactly 1.5 hours.

Its not linear so you can't infer too much, but its looking very standard for this phone according to benchmarks on the web showing 3.2 hours for 0-100%

Thanks , I have also used the Samsung adaptive charger and an old 700mA Nokia charger and strangely both charged at roughly the same rate so hard to work out whats causing the slow charge .

4 hours for a full charge.

Phone is about 6 months old, with very light usage.

This is not a fast charging phone.

Only upside is that once charged lasts a hell of a long time .
