I have the M3 note but haven't really kept up with any news on it. My battery is normal and phone is as responsive as usual.

Then again I knew buying the phone that I wouldn't trust it with anything important. It runs a unknown android os by the manufacturer and is still on Android 5.1, not exactly the best thing to trust.

I don't log in to anything, use google services or the like. Just calls, texts and web browsing. Play the occasional music or movie from local storage.

It might also be why I haven't noticed since I've never logged in to google play I don't get any updates for it. When I need updates for things like maps or firefox I pull the apk for them.

For a $200 phone with a 4100mah battery it does what I expected of it. But if you wanted to use it as a personal daily driver then I would probably find a more reputable manfacturer to use.

I have one of these phones. It has google play store, works alright and the battery lasts longer than another smart phone I've ever seen.

There might be something more to the issue?
