Asking on behalf of a friend, I'm on the lookout for a durable android phone (primarily for farm use). Water resistance would be nice, and something that is not going to die from being dropped. 5" max screen size. 

Doesn't need to be top of the line, but something at least semi decent. This is replacing an Asus Zenfone 5 for reference. 

I've been told $300, and I've said that's not going to happen, try $400. So far the only thing I've found is a Galaxy Xcover 4, which while on the lower end spec wise, does fit the bill pretty well. 

Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you.
