The sound on my wife's G4 has failed - it only works sometimes. Best guess is it's a loose wire / bad connection, probably due to a toddler throwing it or something. Boot sound doesn't even work - if you give it a whack sound starts for a while then stops. I've restarted, done all updates, sometimes sound works, but mostly it doesn't. Happy to hear of any other diagnostic ideas before sending away.

It was purchased from Amazon.com so no warranty, and warranty doesn't cover toddler damage anyway.

Where's the best place to get it repaired? Ideally Wellington, but can courier anywhere.
