Hi There,

Hopefully someone can help.

I purchased the Huawei Mate 10 in February. And for as long as I can remember I've been getting a message appear between Midnight & 6am sparatically. All it say's is "Unknown Sender". I can't open it because as soon as I do it dissapears with a random error about not being able to open it. I can delete it however.

I have did a google search and it was widely reported on the XDA forums earlier this year but there doesn't seem to be a way to stop it happening.

I'm using the default message app that is on the phone. 2 days ago I did a complete factory reset of the phone but same message has popped up the past 2 days. Its only at night between Midnight and 6am.

If anyone has some information on how to resolve it that would be great. I did read that it could be the the system getting stuck in an update cycle.

I've also cleared the cache and data from the messaging app and reset all app preferences.

Thanks,
