Not sure if this should be in the iOS forum but I will start here.
I need to set up Samsung phone so it can see the location of an iPhone. Can anyone point me to instructions on how to go about this?
Thanks.

Trusted Contacts.

On the iPhone you can download this as an app and then add the devices against each other.

If you only need to do this occasionally then you can just log into https://www.icloud.com/#find from a browser.

If you do this on an Android phone, you will need to switch to desktop mode, annoyingly..

I will mention this is probably the least intrusive option. With trusted contacts youโ€™re giving data to google versus keeping it just with Apple.

Also logging in to find my iPhone gives you more options versus this solution (which acts more like find my friends). You can put it into lost mode and do a few things remotely without physical access to the device.

Just make sure you have an alternate 2FA enabled, otherwise that phone will get the prompt to authorise the sign in to iCloud.๐Ÿ˜‰

... Seriously? Have they broken it? Find my iPhone bypassed 2FA last time I tested it (a couple of months ago).
