PBTech are apparently the first to have it in stock (SM-A705G Black SP), though confusingly, they have another variant listed which is out-of-stock (SM-A705G Black 2D).

The specs look the same, so I don't know what the difference is.

Does that mean they're locked, or is there some other difference?

@NDR They will not be SIM locked but running different versions of software

Example: 2degrees handset would have
Wi-Fi calling enabled (note this is just an example and the handset may not even support Wi-Fi calling)

As stated they will be unlocked. And the Firmware will be basically the same apart from Telco apps. No need to worry about reception issues or anything.

Wi-Fi calling is not a Telco App it's built into the handset software

Yeah I realise that. Is it disabled in VNZ and TNZ firmware? I've gone through the firmware files before and couldn't find any differences.
