Hi team

Hoping you can help (and be patient with) a "Learning Geek", as numerous Google searches have not been useful thus far.

I have two Android phones - an S8 and an Xcover.

I have an @gmail.com calendar.

I can see all my calendar entries on the S8 - but I cannot seem to get these calendar entries to transfer/sync to the Xcover.

The S8 is using the Samsung Calendar (I think it's also called S-Planner) app. The Xcover is using the Google Calendar app. Both appear to be signed in to the @gmail account.

On the S8, all my calendar entries corresponds to the @gmail account listed under Google in the Manage Calendars section. There is also an @gmail account listed under Samsung Account but entries are not made under this calendar.

When I log into Google Calendars on a browser, none of the calendar entries I've made on the S8 show up, even though it's on the same @gmail account.

What am I doing wrong? Any ideas on what I've missed?

Thanks!

Make sure your default calender entries are google, you may be entering your entries as local or Samsung acc.

Check this on every device.

After spending more time mucking around I figured a way to get it to work.

I downloaded the Google Calendar app onto the S8. Then imported my calendar entries to that and synced it. Now I can see the entries in the Google Calendar app on both phones. So I'll ditch the S-Planner app and just use the Google Calendar app.
