Saw some news posts about the update going live today (3rd September for USA) and checked the update on my Pixel 2 XL and got the notification.

Anyone else updated? What you all think?

Yup got it on my original Pixel.

Seems fine, nothing major.  I turned on the new gesture navigation controls and boy, they're hard to get used to.  But I'm saving my pennies for a Pixel 4XL and I figure this new way of nav will be the standard with the P4, so I better get used to it.

It seems faster to do things, but that's probably also because it's a fresh reboot and I'm really thinking about how fast I think it is, so it's probably not faster at all.  But really, there's almost no changes (oh dark mode, woop-de-doo) that the average user would care about I think.  Oh, better location privacy (you can tell apps they can only have your location when you've got it open)

I've just installed the update on my OG Pixel and agree that there isn't much difference. I tried the new gesture navigation but think I'll stick with the 2 button option (the Pie default) for now.

My favourite new thing is being able to give apps location access only while they're running. It'll be good for apps from companies that aren't known for respecting privacy (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp).

Received it early this morning on my essentials PH-1. Some of the apps are a bit dark now, but, seems ok. Don't think much of the Easter egg in this version.

Got it on my pixel 3a. Haven't noticed any difference yet from developer previews

Wonder if/when it'll be pushed out to Nokia's Android One devices?

Stand down, appears my Nokia 6.1 will get it Q1 2020 (or Q4 this year depending on where you read it)

I have had it for a couple of months at least with the beta versions.  I really like the black settings. Under developer is also a "Force black" that turns apps to inverse colors, whether they want it or not. Great for the evening when your wife says "turn off the phone 'cause I can't sleep!". However its a pity the switch isn't more accessable.

All in all, nothing too amazing, but just one of things that make the Pixel my favorite phone.

Dark mode also saves battery if you have an OLED screen.
My pixel 3a easily lasts one and half day with medium usage.
