I have noticed that a small number of Android Apps will default to portrait orientation for some menu selections, and turning the tablet to landscape will not change this.

Any reason for this?  Seems odd since most times it is just Settings options or lists of Files.

A lot of Android apps aren't optimised for tablet use, only smartphones. It's one of android's longtime failings next to iOS apps.

@Gehenna … I suspected as much 😊

Just a touch annoying when using, for example, a video player where my NAS files are all listed in portrait, and when one is selected the tablet has to be 'swung' to landscape for viewing … not a big deal but awkward as tablet is in a keyboard-case 😏
