Hi All,

I have purchased an A21 today and am having some issues with getting VoLTE enabled.

I have confirmed I have the latest Android Software updates, I am in 4G coverage area and showing 4G on the phone, and Spark confirm my sim is correctly setup.

There is no option at all in the settings to toggle on VoLTE

Can anyone shed any light as to what could be happening?

From the research I have done so far it could be something to do with the IMS registration status - which currently shows as Not Registered?

Cheers in advance

Ignore my earlier reply. I see you need an A21s to access VoLTE on Spark

If you don't see VoLTE toggle, that would mean your phone hasn't got the carrier specific VoLTE config's. This is in the system level of your phone's software. "CarrierConfig" is the system app that has carrier specific config's stored. The app includes config settings for all carriers worldwide. It depends on the Phone manufacturer to get the app updated in each of thier models.

Different network in my case (Kogan SIM/Voda network) but I've never managed to get VoLTE working on my phone, despite it being supported and apparently everything being set correctly up by Kogan... I gave up in the end.

@Linux: An S10+ from JB HiFi.

I posted on this in another thread a few months back; you posted some helpful info and Mauricio got me direct support from Kogan, but sadly all to no avail.

Here's the thread; would still love to sort it out but really don't know what to do!

@jonathan18 Is the CSC for Vodafone NZ or another NZ carrier? If Vodafone NZ then your provider needs to raise the issue into Vodafone NZ and get the IMS platform checked

Edit: DM me your mobile number and I will get someone to check tomorrow

Thanks heaps, Linux; I have a feeling it's a 2D handset, going by one of my posts in that thread. Will DM you my number still, in case someone can help. Cheers!
