Just got the notification this morning which is 1.7GB download.

Just wondering if anybody has done this yet and how did it go?  I have a few strange things going in in Android 10 which hopefully this will fix (or break more stuff!)

I just checked and have the update available for my Pixel 3a. I'm going to take the plunge.

Update: only 1.33GB for me. I didn't think the Pixel 4 had that many differences that would cause such a big difference in download size.

The update screen says 1.72GB so perhaps the 4 and XL have more stuff?  Maybe the Soli stuff and facial recognition?

1.48GB for Pixel 3.

Edit - and done...

Obvious changes or problems - none that I've noticed so far.

OK just did it. As for obvious changes, I don't like the swipe interface so still use the Android 3 button interface so I don't know what swipe changes there are

I knew about this but now Long Press on the power button not only presents the usual power off and Google Pay choices, it also presents my Home Automation options.

But screen shot has been moved to the Task Manager screen which is a change.

The biggest change I've noticed so far is with notifications. My silent notifications now have their own distinct section.

It looks like Google missed something when implementing the new app switcher with screenshot/select functionality. It's there if you use the old 3 button navigation or if you use the new gesture navigation. But if you use the 2 button navigation, it isn't there.

I'm not sure if this was an oversight or if it's a sign that 2 button navigation is going to disappear before too long.

Huh...
I was looking at my phone wondering why this new feature wasn't there.

Android 11 isn't yet showing up as ready for d/l install on a Pixel 2 here.

Message bubbles are cute but they only seem to work on Android Messages.  I would add the only message apps I use are Wechat, Viber, Hangouts and Google Voice and it doesn't work on any of those. I do have Snapchat and Instagram installed but very few people message me on those apps.

Did a manual check on my spare Pixel 3a and got the 1.3GB download.

Ignoring the notification on my main Pixel 3a until I can be sure that my bluetooth accessory and game work
