I've found that in such with swiftkey android for swipe typing.

But no matter what settings I select inc turn off autocorrect, it autocorrects when i swipe type.

What I thought it said it registered magically gets changed to be something else

trouble is It doesn't show what I'm typing when the words I'm typing will eventually get hidden - I presume this is browser failure and not the keyboard app fault

Very annoying

Any ideas?

GBoard

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Following as I'm getting tired of GBoard. Coming from Apple, GBoard is woeful at working out what I meant to type.

I use the voice recognition of Google Keyboard / Gboard a lot. It's fairly accurate.

Surely if you're swipe typing, the system MUST use some kind of auto correct system to interpret your typing. If it didn't, it'd have to just put in every letter passed over.

"I'm stuck" and "in such" appear to be almost identical patterns.

Gboard is good if you don't mind Google storing and analysing everything you type. Other options may respect your privacy

after you swipe it tells you what it thinks you've swiped.

but when i look at it later, it's changed to something else.

issue is browser is not smart enough to follow the words as they are typed so i can;t see the words that has been typed

just had another look at my keyboard settings (microsoft swift)

"autocorrect - will pick the middle word as you type"

ok maybe i've used it wrong ... i've turned OFF autocorrect and thinking i'm typing with the middle word when in fact it's not ...

i'm trying it with autocorrect ON now ...

After 30 mins of looking at options and reviews I'm sticking with Swype. Still works fine

I don't want Google watching my every move and the recent reviews on all the other options indicate a lowering of quality.
