Hi,

Does anyone know if you can pair multiple bluetooth headsets to a single tablet ?

I have 3 kids and the bickering from the backseat of the car is driving me (more) nuts, I was thinking of putting a decent sized tablet in the rear of the car and then give each stroppy noise monster a headset. But looking at my phone I can't see how to sync more than one headset and have the audio go out all of them ... any one got any ideas ? Any software/hardware solutions about that do it? It can't be a unique problem but my Google-foo is failing me today.

It's usually a 1-1 on usage. You can pair as many as you like, but usage is a different kettle of fish.

The best options are things like the Twelve South Airfly Duo Available here at Noel Leeming for $69 or to get Airpods, where you can share audio, but you're limited to two for either solution.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a software solution to this. I stumbled upon my S21 being able to do music share on multiple headphones - haven't tried more than 2 (only have 2 kids!). Think this is a Sammy Special though.

Android Pie and later should have support for pairing two sets of headphones at the same time. It's not just Samsung that has this feature .

I've had a look on Amazon at Bluetooth transmitters to see if any support multiple devices, but it looks like 2 at a time is the limit.

You might be able to find transmitters with 3.5mm inputs and outputs that you could daisy-chain together, but it's a clunky and relatively expensive solution.
