i know i know ... long dead, technically ... BUT ... mine still worked, untill yesterday :/

wondering if any event occured to finally kill it off?

long story short, i still use a spark semble sim in my phone, prev a S10, but recently my Fold3 ..and it allowed me to top up, use the app, and tag on and off busses with no issues here in wellington , untill yesterday ... now holding the phone to the pad does not trigger anything ... nadda ... NFC is on...

They are in the throws of rolling out Snapper on the Johnsonville, so are installing a whole new pile of readers at stations...

Maybe due to incompatibility they killed off any remaining semble users??

I don't understand how you still had it working! Despite the fact I have a Semble SIM still I thought the Snapper NFC integration had been removed from the app? I haven't had it working for a few years.

yeh, well despite the warning message that would pop up when i first popped my sim into my fold ..dismissed that ..and yep ..worked just fine still, can top it up, tag on and off ..everything still works if you have the right sim card.

but ahh yeh .. will see if my issue currently corrected itself next time i catch a bus. hate being that guy with the phone holding up the line

Good to know! I've also been using mine occasionally over the last few years, ignoring the error message each time I've installed the Snapper app on new devices

sorry to bump this again ... but i have a friend who's gone from a Note 9 to a S22 .. transferred his semble sim ...and the snapper app no longer recognizes the sim.

unfortunately. if he returns the sim to the old phone ... it works still. as in the snapper app sees the semble sim and works as per usual.

this is weird as the app version number is the same as what i use on my fold3, with my semble card, and as above i was able to transfer to my phone no problem, well at least apart from having to dismiss the warning message...

has anyone got snapper working with a semble sim on a S22 ultra ?
