Hi all

Just wondering for majority of you that have an Android phone.

Do you use a random account to set up the android phone first, or do you put your primary gmail account into the phone straight away?

just want to know  your thought on this one?

Primary Gmail account into the phone straight away I have zero idea why you would want to use a random one

Primary account. Easier to manage. Your apps will be there, payment methods, contactless payment.

As above, what would be the reason to not use your main account on the phone?

I have enough email addresses already. I don't need another one just to get a new phone going. That, and my primary gmail account knows all the apps I have downloaded, has my cloud files, photos, emails, etc. associated with it. Surely using some random one makes setting up a new phone harder?

Ok great,
The reason I am asking is, I want to check out whether by having a random account first and put my primary email as an additional would sync better on those essential app like mail, calendar.

Because previously I have posted the question on forum how come it is so difficult to sync instantly when I put a calendar event on Google calendar, and it take 5 mins tor longer o pop up an email on the Samsung mail app.

On a Samsung phone I'd disable their version of Calendar/Email/Contacts etc if you're using Google's services.
