My galaxy note that I have resting on a wireless charger Beeps and lets me know when charge is complete and remove from charger.

Is it harmful to just leave it on the charger? Its no big deal to move it but would be better if the wireless charger switched of etc

Is there a wireless charger you use that switches of ? or maybe some app on the phone ?

Dont think itll be a problem, devices these days have good power management to know not to accept anything further.

Not exactly what you're asking, but tangentially, Accubattery has a useful function that alerts you when the battery has reached 80% full - a maximum of 80% charge is apparently supposed to be better for the battery.

I charge my phone on a wireless charger at my desk, and remove it when I hear the notification. If I do think I'll need the extra 20%, I'll ignore the notification and let it keep charging.

i know people do this. but i used accubattery for about 6 months and always fully charge, both via wireless and wired charging. its said ive gone through about on average 1 wear cycle per day (what is a wear cycle?) my battery health has actually gone up 3% since i started using it, and i never take the phone off the charger early.

the "wear cycle" doesn't appear to correlate to a degradation in battery heath at all.
