After the update I'm getting about 10% battery loss for every 10 minutes of screen time.

I've tried everything I can find to fix it but no dice.

Anyone else experience this after the 13 update ?

No problems on my pixel. What does the settings / battery say is using power? Alternately AccuBattery can be useful.

You could try a soft reset (Google how for your phone). Hard reset would be a last resort as setting phones up is time consuming to get it how you like it.

I haven't noticed any significant change in battery life since upgrading my 8T (KB2001) to OxygenOS 13.

Hi Martyn,
Weirdness of this level, generally calls for a phone refresh. I would backup what you need to the reset the phone to factory and start reinstalling apps. I know it’s a pain in the butt I’m sure this will fix the issue. As OnePlus would have tested the release.

Best of luck.

Things seem to have settled down a little.

A day or two after the OS update I had 20+ updates of apps and after a reboot and clicking a dozen "this so can be optimized" notifications over the following day it's not so bad.

With warp charging I'm used to just throwing it on the charger when I have breakfast and that getting me through the day with maybe a top up in the evening.

But to be needing a full charge twice a day was not normal.

Good for you Martyn,
Fast charging does make up for battery draining weirdness. Sounds like it maybe a rouge app when you choose battery in settings does it show what apps are draining the most out of battery.

On a side note: I jumped ship last phone refresh to an iPhone 13 Pro Max it’s had the best battery I have ever had on a phone. My best case scenario was lite usage it lasted from Monday morning to Thursday morning on one charge but typical usage I get 2 days not an issue. Means I can decide when I want to charge the phone.
