Has anyone received the new (Coolwalk?) version of Android Auto yet? Wondering if the roll-out is geo based or hardware based.

Thanks.

Thanks, Samsung A52, I am thinking its probably going to be done on a geo basis over the next few weeks.

Yeah, I have been super keen to try it and can't see to find a way to 'force' the update.

I've got it.

Works in one car (hyundai), but not the one with OpenAuto, so not sure if its a screen resolution needed to trigger the different view?

Maybe its device-dependant then.

What version number is Coolwalk?  I've been searching online today but I didn't find anything definitive.

I have 8.6.625034 (Samsung M51).

I have v8.7.130204 but no coolwalk. I dont think it depends on the version of AA as long as its fairly recent, I think its a switch that Google has to turn on, wether thats on the basis of geography or device I dont really know.

Are you sure it's not still beta users only that have been given access? That seems to have been the case last month, anyway.

Google announced just recently that it was being rolled out to everyone.

Still to see someone not in the beta program confirm they have it. Google had indicated it would be later in the year, but if they've started early it'd be great.
