I am interested in being able to use wifi calling. Am I correct that only 2 Degrees offer this facility? I am currently with Skinny would I be disadvantaged if I move to 2Degrees as far as service goes? I seem to remember some years ago that 2Degrees had difficulty covering all NZ but presumably, that is not a problem anymore. Can anyone else using wifi calling comment on such calling

@ronw All NZ carriers offer WiFi calling! Did you search geekzone.co.nz before posting? WiFi calling is covered end to end

2degrees was the first in New Zealand to offer it 2017

Go to each carriers website and search WiFi calling

A previous discussion mentioned Spark did not support SMS over WiFi at that time.

Wonder if we need a simple common matrix outlining the features to hedge these somewhere.

Carrier, Priority mode, sms, date tested sorta thing.

Was nifty for last few weeks in aus on vf with airplane mode. And surprising to get inbound messages I wasn't expecting. Seems my outbound txt back to confirm my dentist from the airport wifi didn't go through however given the callback tonight.
