Hi,

This morning dropped my phone and unfortunately it landed at an angle that somehow missed the phone cover protection and have shattered the screen along the edge.

Is there any reputable screen repairers in central or west Auckland that one can recommend please?

If it helps, it's a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus (old I know, but it's still going really well, after 4 years of use!)

Best to get it repaired at the Samsung Customer Service Plaza up in Albany

Yeah they've quoted me $479.

I asked some other places randomly, they said $360-$399 for Samsung, and $250 for aftermarket....

Will need to think if it's worth it or just moving on and getting a new phone!

Can never quite trust that third-party repairers are using genuine parts despite saying so.

Maybe it’s time for a new phone - sounds like an early Christmas present for yourself.

Or FoneFix just off Sylvia Park (they are an official repair agent) but are Cheaper than Customer Service Plaza.

You'd also maybe need to consider that the battery needs to be replaced as well, tbh if I were you I'd just get a new mobile.

Might be worth looking into a trade-in at this point...

Unfortunately with a smashed screen I can't trade it in (just checked 2degrees' website).

If you want to keep the phone I second service plus they use genuine parts. But also have a look at these guys https://www.ifixit.com/Kits/Android-Fix-Kits/Google-Fix-Kits I have seen repairers on YouTube rating them as they supply genuine parts a show you how to repair the device
