I'm looking for an Android emulator for Windows 10 preferably with touch support.

BlueStacks has been around longest and supports touch. I get the impression it is advertising supported to some extent. Looks like it provides an option to remove advertising.

Windows Pen support would be a bonus. Have you used BlueStacks regularly and are there reasons to consider other vx/emulators instead?

I use LDplayer. Works fine.  No idea on touch support though.  Its free and its reliable.

The machine I'm using is almost certainly Windows 10 for a while longer.

Bluestacks is pretty widely supported. Yes, the free version is advertising supported, so you may end up with some ads on the side of the window (not obstructing the virtual display).
