Nothing Phone 3 has been announced and I'm looking at it and comparing it to the Pixel 10 Pro XL that'll be released in the next few months. The Nothing Phone 3a has appeared in New Zealand, does it support VoLTE all carriers? if it does then would it be fair to say that Nothing Phone 3 will support VoLTE just like Nothing Phone 3a? I'm also assuming that the Pixel 10 Pro XL will support the three carriers just like the Pixel 9 Pro XL did.

Spark and one dont currently list them. 2D does.

(The carriers have a known comparability lists)

As is the minefield, someone might say it does on x,y,z but unless they update the official list....

That means it may very well only have a 2degress profile and no spark or one profile

Even phones that work on Carrier A may not work on Carrier B

Welcome to the age of VoLTE

Heya,

Yep, only 2Deg has Nothing 3a on the list, no mention from Spark & OneNZ.

Im not much of a gambler, but took the chance and went out and bought a Nothing Phone 3a back in May - So far so good, ive tried Spark, OneNZ & 2Deg SIMS, all seem to VoLTE no trouble at all

Currently running Spark SIM for Work, 2Deg for home.

Relise only 3x months in, but still one happy camper here with the Nothing3a

Hope this helps

Cheers,
DanF

It makes me wonder whether Google is 'sharing' their knowledge with their Android partners to bring compatibility to all Android devices - Pixel working out of the box for VoLTE in New Zealand. I'm probably looking at getting one for mum since she currently has an Apple iPhone SE but she is currently looking for something with a bigger screen - either an Nothing Phone 3a (she is with 2 Degrees) or I buy a Pixel 10 Pro XL then give her my S25 Ultra which has a decent sized screen.
