I’ve added a foreign language repo this way to Kodi on a laptop but unsure if I can do the same on a tablet.

I have a repo for Kodi saved on a USB stick that I want to add to a Kodi app on a Samsung Tab. I bought a USB A female to C adapter to plug into the tablet for the transfer, as tablet has no USB port. 

Going to try and do this for someone this arvo and want to know if it’s possible and any need to knows. The repo is only available as a zip now so typing in a path is not viable.
