I just ordered my HTC Magic, but will want to use my own headphones. Does anyone know if there's anywhere in NZ I can get a headphone adapter for this phone? Thanks.

Don't know about that one, but Expansys has a full range of HTC Magic accessories.

IIRC the usb-3.5mm stereo adaptor is about $20.00

Just search on HTC Magic, you'll see everything, adaptors, screen protectors, cases etc.

Buy this I reckon. I bought it for my Touch Pro 2 last week from this seller and was delivered within a week. This is an official product and it's a multi adapter. You can sync, charge and listen to music (3.5mm jack and 2.5mm jack) at the same time with this one. It's really compact too in size.

Thanks bill, but it's a bit bulky, and I'm not interested in getting a paypal account.

Does it have the funny mini-usb port the the bottom? if so shops such as First mobile or Digital mobile may have these but beware on prices.

I'd suggest Telecom retail but their accessories range has gone from being fantastic to utter crap recently. (though check with Leading Edge / Orb stores)

I got one for my okta touch and it worked well.

Thanks.

By the way, received the phone today and LOVE it. Upgraded from a cheapo phone and ipod touch, and almost when for the iphone. Very happy with my choice on this phone. Having said that, the earbuds that come with it suck and are too big for my ears (I hate all earbuds), and the lack of 3.5mm port is still /facepalm workthy. Other than that though, this is a great phone - runs circles around the iphone, particularly for people who like to use their phone how they want to, not how Apple wants them to.
