In a previous post I heard someone say $1500 some company in NZ was taking preorders for. Just wondering what people would pay for this phone...

I certainly wouldn't pay any price for it. I have a magic (which is same CPU and RAM), and it's barely fast enough as it is. I've run the HERO rom on my phone and it's way too slow and unresponsive.

I'll be waiting for something like the new sony-ericsson Xperia android phone which is rumored to have a 1GHz CPU.

I bought one for NZD 1,200 when it came out, was hasty but I was saving for it and I reckon it's worth it - now with the update, loving it more.

What do you think of the screen readability in sunlight, does it fade out much ?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Yes, its very hard to read in direct sunlight and I guess the nature of the touchscreen makes it difficult to operate when your walking.

I haven't had too many issues with sunlight and the screen, same as iphone imho. Yes touchscreen is not easy on the walk and even worse when you've had a few too many drinks. But then again I had that issue when I had my iphone.
