I think this is one of the more affordable android HTC phones they talked about after launching the HTC Hero. It sure does look nice.

Not looking so good now. It appears to make it cheaper HTC is using resistive screen - which makes gestures less likely to work when they come...

I guess that makes sense considering they're looking at targeting middle of the range smart phones with the Tattoo. Still bit of a bummer.
