The XDA devs now have the camera working on two Android v2.1 ROMs for HTC G1 & HTC Magic 32B

"Eclair_2.1-v1.5" http://bit.ly/8VMQ6O (Bluetooth works, system nice and fast, no flash in the browser, no espresso UI - looks like Nexus One, incl boot animation and one live desktop.)

and

"Htc Espresso V3 Port" http://bit.ly/4Jt6UK (Espresso UI, Flash 10.1 in the browser, but no Bluetooth so far in this one. System speed not bad if you close the huge widget found on each of four home screens. The Espresso builds come from the v2.1 Hero phone update, I think, which is why the Bluetooth doesn't work - yet )
