Woah, i found this on AndroidandMe.com

apparently they ported quake 2 and 3 to the moto droid, and it plays at 20-30FPS!

I installed the "Kwaak3" package on my phone and it then tells you where to copy the files from your Quake 3 CD onto your sdcard. I think the Quake I have is Quake Arena, so it may not work.

do you need to have root on your phone? currently the htc droid eris has not been rooted yet so I dont know if it would work for me.

plus I dont have a keyboard.

anyone try this yet?
