I just installed it this afternoon after finally remembering what my Swype beta account password is. :-)

Seems to work OK. Haven't really had a chance to get used to it yet.

Pinch zoom stops working if Swype is active on my Desire. Any suggestions?

Yeah the browser. Rather annoying. Happens with all versions of swype I've tried. Even after a hard reset! Oh well.

Now that changes the whole way I feel about touch keypads.
Input speed on the Magic is now closer to that of my E-71

Tis bloody marvelous.

Bighammer what browser are you using? Just found this :

'Hey guys,

I was having this problem but I figured it out.

Go into the browser, change to the third party browser, exit the browser and restart the phone.

Then pinch zoom works..

you can swap back and forth from the default and the third party one again with pinch zoom enabled."

Cheers I'll have another look and see if I can get it working. Would be a bonus for sure.

The default. Dolphin HD (older version with YouTube 'support') breaks the default app manager so removed it. Haven't installed the current version of Dolphin HD yet.

The multi-touch/pinch issue affected Sense UI as well. ie pinching to show all seven launch screens didn't work.

Thanks for the heads up though as rebooting after selecting Swype has sorted it out! I had tried rebooting before selecting swype as the input method but that hadn't helped.
