The other major app that appeared on my radar this week is "WunderRadio". (US$6.99)

I own this app on my iPod Touch and it has one feature that - for me - sets it above all others: I can listen to Radio New Zealand on it.

No other streaming media app I have seen lets me listen to National Radio in real time.

NatRad is only radio station I listen to. No ads and loads of interesting current affairs and Kiwi content.

WunderRadio is a must-have app on my Android phone. I paid my US$6.99 in seconds.

I have been using RadioTime to listen to the NZ stations and my favourites from overseas for a month or two now and it's been great.

Hmm, i can't edit my post it seems. Linky for RadioTime. Costs less than the WunderRadio option with many of the same stations.

Any ideas what is different to warrant the price hike?

Mauricio has limited the editing time after posting because someone annoyed him by going back later and editing a post over which there had been some contention. So you can't re-write history.

I've bought RadioTime. Hopefully it will work for RNZ. That's the only station I want to listen to. WunderRadio worked fine for a couple of days and now doesn't seem to work for more than 30 seconds or so before cutting out. But I'm on Froyo (Android v2.2) pre-release FRF50......so it may work better when the final Android v2.2 is available for install.

RadioTime works great with Radio NZ on Wifi. I'll try it on 3G on the way home.
