Hi folks,

I am in Indonesia at the moment, and have stuck a prepay IM3 Indosat SIM in my HTC Desire. So far I can make phonecalls and send/receive SMS. The biggest challenge now is getting MMS and 3G going! I found the website with some info for this provider - so far it's not working. I'm guessing I haven't quite figured out what value goes to which field, or I may be missing some values for the extra fields in an APN setup. Either way the local provider's shop is of no help. For one I don't think they quite understand it all. They put in the 3G proxy settings in the MMS Proxy fields, and MMS Proxy settings in the 3G's APN Proxy fields. I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to be that way around.

Can someone please help me with this? I'm hoping to be able to use mobile broadband in my week here. It's just incredibly amazing how cheap the charges are! I guess they have a much higher volume of users here. Mobile phones are everyone - even parking attendants, street hawkers, etc. have mobile phones!

Cheers,
D.
