R2D2 phone to hit the US September 30. link

Ok I'm a big fan of Star Wars, not sure I'd own the phone though...

Yeah I read about this the other day. Kinda ugly and too square for R2D2 though.

There's an iPhone hard-case being released by Lucasfilm as well. Again - very square and only "inspired by R2D2".

Ok I'm a big fan of Star Wars, not sure I'd own the phone though...


If it was free and I had a spare SIM and I was going to a social occasion where there were people who might care and the "R2-ness" of the phone didn't interfere with the function.......I might use it.
