Hi All,

I run the site www.androidmobile.co.nz (which is new) and am currently searching for another site author/admin. Basically someone that loves Android, can write news articles about what's happening out in the world (and in NZ) for Android, review phones, apps etc. The site is CMS based so will be easy to add content. I'm not wanting to step down from being an author, I would like some help to up the content.

Note - this is not a paid job, would be ideal for someone that likes to write their opinion and has an obsession with Android. Technology as a hobby!

Private Message me or reply to this forum if interested...

Cheers
Pete

I agree. Hes always talking about his Nexus One (I think he owns that??) and what hes been doing with it :). I enjoy reading his opinions on all things Android and the help he gives others. :)

Edit: Would just like to say I love AndroidmobileNZ site aswell. I go there everyday and everyday there seems to be a new article or two - keep up the good work :)

Thanks Michael. Appreciate the feedback. I'll see if I can get in touch with Linuxluver or anyone else that's interested.

I'd potentially be interested to write every now and then but i'm not that great at thinking of things to write about.
Nice idea though.

Linuxluver is the best man for the job. I nominate him. I also summon him right now!

*Please note, I am not responsible if my magical powers fail me and summon a sheep instead, it's not my fault, just leave it as that.

Hey there, saw your post on some other New Zealand forum, and visited it from there. Was very interested in advise for NZ buyers - didn't learn much unfortunately, but I have high hopes for such a website! :)

Yeah very early days at the moment. The site is about 1 month old. I'm a kiwi living in the UK at the moment, so am trying to get an admin/author that's in NZ so they can also cover that part of the world. I have contacts in Telecom, Google etc but nothing beats men on the ground sourcing info. Will do my very best to give NZ an Android home.

Good luck! we're all asleep atm, it's nearly 2am, I've been out drinking, so am still up but yeah... dunno what my point was, I'd happily write, warning though, I'm an engineer. I do maths, calculations and lateral thinking, not much of a creative writer :P It'll be very objective... :)

it might be good to port over all the useful info out of the massive threads on here, like the Desire threads and the Samsung Galaxy threads (the ones that are 30+ pages long!)

It'd be pretty sweet if you had someone to do reviews of Android applications and games as well as updating with news of Android devices and development.

Sorted people, thanks for the responses. I have nabbed 2 authors, so a team of 3 will run the site. Linuxluver and 8d52797c436.

MF - You can close this now. Thanks
