Yet more Android phones - this time from Acer and only in Australia at this stage (well I can't see anything on Acer's NZ web site).

I have also heard that Telecom may have the Galaxy by the end of September, and that all Milestone stock had been pulled but it too may be available by the end of the month. I didn't get a reason for the delay - anyone heard anything?

The Acer Liquid A1 has been on sale at PB Tech in Auckland for a couple of months at least. Their price has been about NZ$783 incl GST.

The LiquidE is basically a slightly re-tooled A1. The LiquidE firmware has been leaked and running on A1's for months.

The Stream looks very nice. I wouldn't be ashamed to own one.

So many great phones coming out!!! All Android....yet so varied in size, speed, capabilities and price.

VHS.

If you can't get the source code for it, I'm not interested. ;)

I purchased the Liquid E from Pb Tech, not a bad phone, even stock it runs pretty nice. I've tried a few other ROM's and the phone never skipped a beat, for $650, handset only, it's very good value for money!
