I bought an LG 620f, and from trademe I got a 32gb microsd card so I could put my 13gb of music onto my phone and retire my iPod.

I've tried using DoubleTwist for PC to load my music, and just dumping my music directory directly onto the card. Either way, when I try to play the music I find that only a few of the songs/playlists are show up on the default music player.

According to LG the phone can handle up to 32gb (http://www.lg-gw620.com/media/15681/lg%20gw620%20specification.pdf)

 - Would this be fixed if I could load DoubleTwist onto the phone? If so, how can I load it? It isn't available on the default app market, and AppBrain tells me it can't load it because I'm not in the US.

 - Is there another way to fix this problem?

Can you not see the Doubletwist Player?

It's free. I've just downloaded it.

The dev log on their site says the 'songs not showing up" bug was fixed in v1.02.

I can email you the v1.0.2  apk file if you can't get it. It's 2.5MB and free....so shouldn't be any issues there.

You may also want to try the Meridian player. I have a couple of playlists I made with that and when I installed DoubleTwist Player, it included both the Meridian playlists in its list of playlists.

Nope, I can't see it. typing doubletwist into the app market just comes up with some plugins for doubletwist, not dt itself.

If I try and download it via AppBrain, it tells me 'there are no matches in the Android Market for the search: pname:com.doubletwist.androidPlayer'

It's be awesome if you could email me the .apk, but I'd have no idea how to install it from my computer to the phone. Is there a guide somewhere?

I also noticed that in your blog you said you had RockPlayer, which I have had the same trouble trying to find. Would it be possible for you to send the .apk for that as well?

Remember, the 620f is running Android 1.5 - so it might be that the doubletwist player just doesn't work with 1.5.

It shows up fine on my Desire running 2.2.

Yeah, after looking around the website, it appears DT only works on 1.6 and above. Laame.
