Hi

What methods are available to transfer mp3 on to the Galaxy S

I currently know of

1. Using kies

2. Connect phone in Music Player mode, then it appears as music device in WMP, etc...

3. Double twist (havn't tried this yet)

What I would like is a way to copy mp3 files straight onto the device in mass storage mode.  Ideally you'd have an app on the phone that would check a defined directory on the phone eg. \sdcard\new_music\ and see the new files then move/add them to the music database on the phone.  Are there any apps that do this???

I don't know what Samsung has done in the way of media, but on stock Android you can just copy the music files directly onto the SD card (to any folder) and they will automatically show in the Music Player

Thats what I did, put my SD card in a reader and loaded it all into a folder called Music. Showed up after the initial media scan at first boot.
