Hi guys

I bought a HTC wildfire and received it yesterday! Man its amazing. "this is my first smartphone" hence why i am so excited.

Any way

When i download and install the HTC sync it keeps saying that the phone is not connected? what do i do?????

Also

because i bought it of mobicity and its a NextG version it has all the extra Telstra apps on it. How do I get rid of these?

You can delete 'system' apks once you root the phone. Exercise caution (and/or backup the apk).

Not that straight forward with the Wildfire, but googling will give you some links. Look for links on Modaco or xda-developers if you want detailed step by steps. May not be for the technically faint hearted.

I'd forget about HTC sync and just let your contacts, email etc just sync themselves ota
