Heya. I cant seem to find the cable that came with the phone (USB im guessing). I took some pictures on it last night and want to put them onto my PC. I tried bluetooth, but the PC + my N1 couldnt see each other.

Besides the obvious of finding my Cable, how can I transfer the files? Is it a phone Issue or PC?

Sorry hope I made sense, still abit hungover :(

download and install 'ES file explorer'. This app can see your pc's network shares, ie your hard drive on your computer.

Just open app, select a shared folder, copy content over from phone to pc using phone.

Or astro and add the SMB module. Works very well.

I'd just go into the Gallery app, select the files you want and choose 'Share' then 'Picasa'.   You can then go to http://picasaweb.google.com/home on your PC and grab the photos from there.

Thanks everybody for your help. Funnily enough, the cable was sitting right in front of me. After about 4 hours of looking I gave up and there it was. I will look into the sugestions you have all suggested however.

Thanks

You can also install "SwiFTP" on youe phone and then FTP into it from your PC....and download whatever you want.

They also have a (donations, please) proxy server that allows access to your phone from the Internet with a login/password.

Generally, tough, I usually use Estrongs File Explorer to copy files to a Windows / samba share on the LAN via wifi. Make sure you get the file permissions correct at the PC end....depending on what OS you're using.

Just d/l this app. Seems to work except for one thing. It won't view images. Will see a thumbnail but when you click on it, black screen.
