My wife has finally admitted defeat after 20-something years and said she doesnt know what to buy me :)

Ive had a small play with my Nexus but Im not willing to properly mess around with it because I dont have a lot of time to play and I need it working.

I read the threads about the Eken M001's a while back and was impressed with what Linuxluver had managed to get it to do. So.....with a limited budget is it still worth having a play with one of these ?

All I want to be able to do is check email, surf the web without needing the laptop, maybe use it as an alarm clock in the bedroom, stream UK radio stations in the morning, possibly use it to stream music from my server, learn a little more about Android, try the App builder I finally received my email for, just basically have a play in the Android world when I have the time.

I 'might' like to use it for video in the car, but at the moment Im not planning on it. I would play the odd game etc.

Basically I love what I can do with my Nexus, but for casual surfing at home and playing the odd game, Id love to have a bigger screen.

For $100 this seems like a decent start into the Android world, but are there any 'gotchas' to be aware of before I go ahead ? I know its slow, but the previous threads appeared to make it more than usable for what it is and thats sort of what I want to be able to use it for.

My wife has finally got around to using the ipod touch weve had for a few years now and she loves it. She uses the laptop to reply to email, but catching up on facebook etc is just as easy with one of these I reckon.

So, any advice ?
