Has anyone got a Samsung Tab. I purchased one and was dismayed to find that Android market has been removed and replaced by Samsung's own market. Anyone else struck this problems and does anyone know how to restore the Android Market.

Are you sure? - i've seen the market running on the tab.

All of the samsung devices also have samsung apps installed but I would be surprised if the market had been removed - infact the new market was delivered to this device on the 17th December

Not sure how I would enter those details via phone app. Are you supposed to dial the code or what. Have been googling around and it appears that Samsung have removed android market and only left their own market on TAB. No idea why.
Bit of a bummer

OK I have figured out problem of mo market on Tab. I purchased TAB from Parallel Imports (bad move) They have sourced the TAB from Far east and similar areas. Iit is set up for use there. For some reason they are not allowed to use market. Using the method above you can get into the sales code area and should have been able to set it to XSG which is UK code. However that is not available. You can only choose from the limited range of countries. I went for Kenya (KEN) and once you select that the phone resets and up comes market.
I am hoping rest of phone does not get affected by choosing Kenya but so far it seems OK.
Moral of story. Dont buy from Parallel Imports they have no idea what they are doing and just sell devices
