Not many places seem to have any mention of the i5503 on them, is the battery common with other samsung handsets? Also needing a desktop charger, but want USB powered not the horrid ones with the 2 flipdown US plug pins that seem to be all I can find at the moment on eBay.

If you want USB powered, why don't you just use a USB micro cable? Or are you wanting some form of cradle?

No idea about the battery sorry.

Yes, I want to be able to charge the spare batteries. I like to carry spares with me, since as happened on NYE its quite apparant that battery life in phones is never enough.

I googled the code on the stock one and it matched the i8350 and some others so I have ordered a couple for it and a usb charger off ebay. I just hope that it doenst end up too thick like when I did that for my M300 and got one that works but the back wont fit.

Wonder if anyone will make fat backs for the galaxy 5 like there are for other phones.
