Is there anyway to set up a shortcut to a built in function?

For example, I toggle bluetooth devices on and off regularly and it sucks having to click through "Settings - Wireless and Network - Bluetooth" each time. Would much rather prefer clicking once and going straight to "Bluetooth".

Would also like to do this for the mobile access point function.

Any ideas how to achieve this? I've got a Galaxy Tab running stock 2.2.

Not sure if it would work on a tab, haven't looked into it.  But Extended Controls, and there's another similar one, starts with "S" I think.  They are both paid apps. But given the money you've spent on your Tab, another couple of dollars isn't going to break the bank ;-)

Have a look at AppBrain to see what you get.

Long-press on the desktop to create a shortcut and select "Shortcuts", then "Settings", then choose "Bluetooth" and it will make a shortcut that goes straight to Bluetooth settings. You can't do the same for Wireless AP for some reason.

Thanks for that.
Didn't end up using it as it only enables/disables bluetooth rather than opening the menu page, but it was a good place to start for researching other similar apps. The 'S' one was probably SwitchPro which looks to do the same thing, and there's also a good free alternative called Dazzle Configurable Switcher (although it also doesn't do the bluetooth thing).

Oh well, keep on searching I guess :)

Oh nice, thanks! That works and will use Dazzle for the AP, brilliant!
